- What is The Fresh Bake?
- A directory of new startups, SaaS products and apps. A fresh batch goes in every few hours, the newest sit on the homepage, and every older day keeps its own page, stacked A to Z. Every past bake
- Who runs it?
- Miles Burke, for Deliberate Pty Ltd in Western Australia. The Head Baker and the rest of the kitchen staff are made up, a bit of fun. About the bakery
- How do products get listed?
- Some we find ourselves on the public web, reading the product's own website for its name and a short description. Others are submitted by their makers, for free.
- How are listings checked?
- Listings we find are described automatically from the product's own website, and nobody reviews them first. Submitted and claimed listings are written by their makers, who confirmed an email address. Sites we don't list are turned away automatically.
- Where does a listing's country come from?
- From an address on the product's website, when there's a clear one. Makers can choose it when they submit, claim or edit their listing.
Listing your product
- Is it free?
- Yes. Submitting a product and claiming one that's already here are both free, with no time limit. Super fresh is optional, at US$6 a month.
- How do I submit my product?
- Give us its domain, its name, a short description and your email, then open the link we send. It goes live straight away, dated that day. Submit your product
- My product is already listed. Can I change it?
- Yes. Claim it for free with an email address on its own domain, then change its description, key features, pricing and more whenever you like. Claim your listing
- Do I need to add a badge or link back to you?
- No. Badges are there if you want them. You don't need one to be listed or to stay listed. See the badges
- Do I get a link search engines count?
- Yes, for free. Once your listing is submitted or claimed, our links to your website are normal followed links. Listings nobody has claimed yet carry nofollow links.
- What won't you list?
- Gambling, drugs, adult content, vaping, tobacco and nicotine, alcohol, weapons and harmful sites, including products made for them. We may also refuse any other site. What we don't list
Super fresh
- What does Super fresh get you?
- A golden row with rising steam, a longer description, a turn on the pastries shelf, and no other products shown on its page. It's advertising.
- Does paying change the order?
- No. Paying doesn't change a listing's date or its place in the A to Z.
- Can I cancel?
- Yes, any time, from your listing's page. It stays Super fresh until the end of the month you've paid for. The terms
Removing a listing
- How do I remove a listing?
- Owners can remove their own listing from its page in the bakers' entrance. Anyone else can use the removal form, linked from every listing's page, and a person will look at the request. Ask to remove a listing
